Animal Control

After Hours Emergencies Florida Keys SPCA can be reached 24 hours a day for emergency services, and our Animal Control Officers conduct cruelty and neglect investigations. Report suspected animal cruelty when you see it — with your help, we can improve the lives of animals in our community.

We Are Here To Help

As contractors for Monroe County, we are responsible for housing animals available for adoption, investigating animal abuse and neglect, picking up animals at large. We are charged with responding to requests for help with animals including wild animals, dangerous animals and animals in distress. As an “Open Admission” shelter, we help and take in all species of animals, no matter their condition or temperament.
