Sniper Found Love!

We’re excited to announce that after 10 long months Sniper was finally adopted! Sniper came to our Marathon Campus last year after a serious incident with the other dog in the home resulted in the amputation of her front leg. Thanks to an incredible foster, Sniper made a full recovery and was ready to be adopted just a few months later. Despite plenty of adorable photos from her foster home showing what a well behaved and snuggly dog she was, it would take much longer than we expected for there to be any adoption interest in her at all.

Unbeknownst to us, her mom had an eye on her all along. Her previous housing would not allow pets, but she knew she was relocating in September, and told herself that if Sniper was still available for adoption then, that it would be meant to be! Well, as it turns out, it was meant to be and 10 months later a three legged, senior pit bull found her forever home! We couldn’t be happier for Sniper and her new family. Way to go Sniper!
