Good morning and welcome to Adoption Update Monday! This is a weekly series where we highlight past adopters and their stories! Today’s update comes to us from Maui & Duke’s owner:

“We adopted Maui (black collie mix) in February 2020. He is the most adventurous pup! He loves going for a walk, swimming, boating, kayaking and car rides! He made a lot of friends in our neighborhood and is a very friendly and happy boy. He is also an avid barker and kisser and would do just about anything for a treat!

After Maui’s cat brother Simon passed away, we decided to adopt another pup that he can share his adventures with. Duke (brown doberman mix) became a part of our family in December of 2021 when we brought him from SPCA at 5 months old. The boys now are inseparable and Duke learnt how to be a good boy by following his brother’s lead. He’s a big goof with the sweetest soul and giant body. He’s a very sensitive love sponge and sometimes we joke that we are his emotional support humans. He loves to chase lizards in the yard and shares water enthusiasm with his brother Maui.
