Florida Animal Friend Awards the FKSPCA with a Spay/Neuter Grant for Community Pet Owners!
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve received a generous grant from Florida Animal Friend to benefit our spay/neuter program for community owned pets. Florida Animal Friend is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation in Florida. They achieve this by funding spay and neuter programs through the sale of their specialty license plates. Each plate purchased contributes $25 directly to their grant fund, which supports clinics and organizations like ours, offering low-cost or no-cost spay and neuter services across the state.
Since 2005, Florida Animal Friend has awarded over $8.8 million in grants, helping to spay and neuter thousands of pets and reduce the number of homeless animals. Thanks to this grant, we’ll be able to expand our services and reach more animals in need. But, we can’t do it alone. You can help by purchasing a Florida Animal Friend license plate, donating to their cause, or spreading the word about the importance of spay and neuter programs. Together, we can make a lasting impact on pet overpopulation in Florida.
