Thelma and Louise came in as stray kittens in 2018 and over a year later were adopted. We were elated until their return in March 2020 when the entire world stopped. Thelma was eventually adopted in 2023, but Louise continues to wait. Louise is painfully shy and sensitive, only allowing the humans she trust near her...at first. This makes it easy to overlook her sweet nature and loving demeanor. Cats like Louise may wait many years before someone is willing to give them that second chance.
