Meet Layla!

Layla, found injured and alone on the streets of Marathon, was found to have more serious medical issues than we initially thought.

Meet Layla!

Once we had Layla in our care at the Marathon Campus we realized in addition to head wounds and punctures her more serious condition was her curled in eyelashes known as "Entropia". Entropia is relatively uncommon in cats and a painful, uncomfortable condition. Once her external wounds healed Layla required a necessary surgery to remove the skin under her eyes and suturing the lower lid. Sadly, one of her eyes was permanently scarred from the constant rubbing and she's suffered some vision damage.

We are grateful she's recovering now and is so much more comfortable! Your sponsorship will help Layla to continue to heal as well as any additional medical needs she may have until she finds her furever home.

Your donation today to our Sponsor a Pet Program will ensure that Layla, and all the Sponsor animals, receive the medical care and compassion they need, while we find each animal their furever home.
