While we don't know Glue's history, we do know that she has perseverance and strength.  After her initial examination we found she had painfully ingrown eyelashes which required surgeries on both eyes, mobility reduction to one hip due to being shot by a BB Gun and missing teeth most likely due to Peridontal disease.  But through all the surgeries and medical care she clearly longed for attention and affection through her vocalization and purrs.  She even takes kittens under her wing providing guidance and social skills while they grow up.
