It’s not every day that a senior Chow finds a new home in less than ten days!

Dollar was surrendered to us when his person could no longer care for him. Not only was he over 10 yrs. old, but he was also a Chow, not a breed that many adopters are looking for. But fortunately the Chow Gods were looking out for Dollar.

Not only did his wonderful adopters Jennifer and Larry love Chows and knew the breed well, they also wanted to help senior dogs and knew that he was not going to fly out our doors. When they saw he was at the shelter, they came right out and fell in love with him.

Jennifer in her updates told us “He seems very happy and fitting in well with the family. He and our Standard Poodle are now best buds and he knows and likes the schedule-he is just wonderful and we feel very lucky to have him!”

We certainly know who the lucky one was to have found this family and we wish them all many memories in the making, good times, and plenty of treats!
