Some of our animals can seem a bit shy and withdrawn when you meet them at the Shelter. But many, however, certainly change and thrive when brought into their forever home. Check out the note we received from a recent adopter:

“…A little over a year ago I volunteered at your location and found my little soulmate kitty Bodhi James (formerly known as Boca). Even though we’ve moved out of state, I always lovingly refer to him as my souvenir! If you remember him, he was afraid of anything and everything, and he has completely come out of his shell and is one of the funniest and most loving cats I’ve ever had! Thank you for bringing him into my life!”
