Rosie the Cat was adopted last week after 2 years at our Key West Shelter. Her new Mom stopped by the other day to return our carrier (Rosie is just a wee bit too large for our regular cardboard adoption carriers) and brought a note from Rosie herself! It reads:

“Hi friendz, Thank you for taking such good care of me for over 2 years! I wanted you to know it was worth the wait because I love my new family & they love me even more! I sleep on the bed with them, they give me the best food & treats (even though I shouldn’t have treats, it’s my cute face they can’t resist!) & I get along with Miss Marley, their mini Macaw!

I hide under the bed during the day & interrupt my new mom’s Facetime calls with her clients & for some reason they all love it! Thanks again, friendz, I’ll never forget you!”

Rosie, and her new family, simply couldn’t be happier; and neither could we.
