A Family Worth Waiting For

Recently we told you about Bob on Social Media. Bob is our sweet boy who was adopted from our Marathon Campus back in 2017 who sadly ended up at a shelter on the mainland in danger due to overcrowding.

Thanks to a rescue hold by our friend Karen Thomas of Payton’s Promise Sanctuary, and three incredible volunteers who transported Bob back, he was returned back to our Marathon Campus. He was treated by our medical team, showered with so much love and attention and fostered by Karen until he was ready to be adopted.

We’re excited to announce his adoption didn’t take long, and we think this adoption was just as special as Bob.

You see his new family actually wanted to adopt him back in 2017, but at the time they didn’t have the space or availability due to their housing and current pet. Although it was heartbreaking to lose their dog, fate truly had a hand in bringing Bob back to them so many years later. This time, Bob has his true forever home and our hearts couldn’t be more full.

Congratulations Bob, we love you!
