The Florida Keys SPCA holds several events throughout the year to raise awareness and to support our lifesaving mission.

Island Yoga and Wellness-A Month of Compassion


When: The entire Month of February

Where: 11450 Overseas Highway, Suite 101A, Marathon

Island Yoga and Wellness is donating proceeds from their Yoga classes during the entire month of February.

Each week in February Island Yoga will donate a % of the proceeds from the following classes to FKSPCA:

Monday- 5:30-6:30 p.m. After Work Flow class- % of class pass will go to FKSPCA

Tuesday- 7:00-7:30 a.m. meditation & 7:45 a.m.-8:45 a.m., gentle morning flow by Angie (donation based class)

Wednesday- 6:30-7:30 p.m. Yin Karma (donation) class by Kathy

Not only will you improve your health, but you will be donating to an animal in need!

Painting Parties at Faro Blanco-Marathon


When: Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017, 5:30pm

Where: Faro Blanco Resort, 1996 Overseas Highway, Marathon

faroJoin us every last Wednesday of the month for Painting Parties with Jessica Ann Art at Faro Blanco Resort.  If you are interested in attending, please register in advance for this event at http://www.jessicaannart.com/, click on the ‘Painting Parties’ tab and then select Faro Blanco-Marathon.   A portion of the painting proceeds benefits the animals of the Florida Keys SPCA!  Come out to Marathon for what is sure to be the most fun painting party around!

Key Colony Beach Day


When: Sunday March 5th, 2017, 9am-5pm

Where: Key Colony Beach in Marathon

Key Colony Beach Day – Celebrating the City of Key Colony Beach’s birthday, the incorporation KCB as a city.  There is music, great food, 100 vendors, great food and lots of fun!  Stop by to see the Florida Keys SPCA at their Info booth to check out goodies and learn more about our shelter.  It is sure to be a great day!

Marathon Seafood Festival


When: Saturday March 11th, 2017 from 10am-9pm and Sunday March 12th from 11am-5pm

Where: Marathon Community Park

The Original Marathon Seafood Festival is truly a family friendly event; featuring & staring fresh-caught local keys seafood at amazing prices, cold beverages for adults and kids, live entertainment the entire weekend, over 220+ vendors, as well as a boat & art show to satisfy all your shopping needs, and plenty of rides and games for children.  Stop by the Florida Keys SPCA Info Booth for some great merchandise and to learn more about our shelter. Admission is only $5/person and kids under 12 are free!  We hope to see you there!

Spring Social


When: Friday March 24, 2017 6:30-9:30pm

Where: Key West Golf Club

Spring Social 2016Our 10th Annual Spring Social is here!  Join us for our largest event of the season that is sure to be a night of fun!  VIPs will receive a Champagne Reception before the main event starts with passed appetizers & a sneak preview to the largest silent auction on the island.  This year VIPs will also have their own food tents provided for true preferred service.   We will have music from Captain Josh Ramsteck & Bassman Bill, our infamous silent auction, a live auction, raffles, photo booth and a new twist on food this year!

Chef Martin Liz with Culinary Conch will be providing an exquisite dinner along with Christopher Rounds’ infamous lasagna. Beer will be provided complimentary by Florida Keys Brewing Company & Wine will also be  included with a cash liquor bar on site.  Tom Luna will be our new Emcee and Live Auctioneer for what is sure to be an exciting time.  Parking provided at FKCC with HTA Trolley service to the Golf Club.  Tickets are $125 per VIP or $800 per table (8 person tables) and $55 for General Admission.  VIP Tickets & General Admission will be available on Keystix.com and General Admission will be available at the shelter as well.  All proceeds of this fantastic event will directly benefit the New Shelter Building Fund for the Florida Keys SPCA.  The new shelter is desperately needed to provide a safe location to house the homeless animals of the lower keys.  We are looking forward to seeing you there!!
