The Florida Keys SPCA holds several events throughout the year to raise awareness and to support our lifesaving mission.
Clear the Shelter!
When: Saturday, August 19th, 10am-6pm
Where: Florida Keys SPCA- Key West, 5230 College Rd and Marathon- 10550 Aviation Blvd
Join us for the nationwide Clear the Shelter event on Saturday August 19th where we will be hosting an Adoption Event at both our Key West and Marathon Campus where we would love to ‘Clear the Shelters’ with adoptions! Adoption fees will be completely waived this day! (Current adoption procedures & policies still apply) We are in the middle of Hurricane season and in the event of a major storm, we have to evacuate ALL of our animals into foster homes until it is safe for them to return to the shelter. This event could help us put a large number of animals into homes which will tremendously help our need during this tropical storm season.
We will also have games, kids activities, a face painter, door prizes, food, a Kiss-A-Bull booth and fun for the whole family. Stop by our shelter to meet some amazing animals and hopefully bring one into your home!

Painting Parties at Faro Blanco-Marathon
When: Wednesday, August 30th, 2017, 5:30pm
Where: Faro Blanco Resort, 1996 Overseas Highway, Marathon
Join us every last Wednesday of the month for Painting Parties with Jessica Ann Art at Faro Blanco Resort. If you are interested in attending, please register in advance for this event at http://www.jessicaannart.com/, click on the ‘Painting Parties’ tab and then select Faro Blanco-Marathon. A portion of the painting proceeds benefits the animals of the Florida Keys SPCA! Come out to Marathon for what is sure to be the most fun painting party around!

Spayghetti & No Balls Fundraiser
When: Wednesday September 13th from 6-9pm
Where: La Trattoria Oceanside
The Florida Keys SPCA will be holding their 3rd Annual Spayghetti & No Balls Dinner to benefit our Spay & Neuter Clinic. The Spay & Neuter Clinic helps control the local animal population by fixing hundreds of animals each year through low cost spay & neuter services. It operates solely on donations from the community.
The fundraiser will be held on Wednesday September 13th from 6-9pm at the exquisite La Trattoria Oceanside. The event will include a welcome drink, 6 course sit down dinner with the menu designed by La Trattoria’s talented chef, a 50/50 raffle & silent auction. Tickets for the event are $75 per person and can be purchased at the Florida Keys SPCA located at 5230 College Rd, at La Trattoria at 3593 S. Roosevelt or online at www.fkspca.org, click on Donate and select Spayghetti Tickets.

“Jump Up” Southernmost Coconut Castaways Event

The Southernmost Coconut Castaways are holding their September Jump Up at Boondocks Grill and Draft House on Wednesday September 27th from 6:00-10:00pm. Live music by the Shanty Hounds. Raffles will benefit the Marathon Campus of the Florida Keys SPCA. Bring you four legged furbabies for a great night of music, food and drinks! The Parade of Paws is our 4th annual fundraiser to benefit the Animal Care Fund at the Florida Keys SPCA. People from all over secure pledges from their family, friends, neighbors, their friend’s friends, their family’s neighbors… (you get the idea!). And then they come together to parade their four-legged friends to support our lifesaving mission of caring for our community’s homeless animals. Top earners will earn the opportunity to win prizes and the bragging rights of the title of King, Queen, Prince, Princess, Duke or Duchess for your most treasured companion!
Please come out and parade those paws around the Higgs Beach Dog Park with us! Bring your dogs, wear a t-shirt with a picture of your kitty with pride, or walk with a paddle displaying your pet’s photo! (Cats and small animals will be happy they are safe at home!) At the conclusion of the parade, join us for our Holiday Bazaar inside the dog park. There will be entertainment, food vendors, photos with Santa, local businesses showcasing their goods, gifts for that special person on your list and more!
